Jennifer Campbell, a Showing Partner with Leigh Brown & Associates, grew up in Cedar Square – a dairy farm district 90 miles Northeast of Charlotte. She moved to the Queen City in 1997 to attend college, then went on to work as a Vet Tech. After taking some time out of the work force to be a full-time mom, Jenn returned to the work force and came to work for Leigh in 2014. She started as Amy Gamble’s assistant and worked to get her real estate license. She now dons the title of “Buyer’s Agent”! In her spare time, Jenn likes spend time with her family, read, and ride horses. When asked where to get the best tacos in town, she immediately exclaimed, “If you love Tex-Mex food – hands down – Paco’s Tacos!”

Did you know? The word Tex-Mex actually dates back to the railroad days of 1875? They used to abbreviate locations and it originally had nothing to do with food. Later, Tex-Mex was used to refer to the fusion of US and Mexican ingredients – first starting with the delicious creations of Tejanos (a term used to describe residents of Texas, of Criollo Spanish, or Mexican American heritage). Tex-Mex dishes are characterized by their heavy use of cheese, variety of meats, beans, and spices.

Nestled in the heart of prestigious Southpark, Paco’s Tacos & Tequila (let’s just refer to it as Paco’s, I’m already tongue tied!) offers Tex-Mex style dining in a festive atmosphere. Their menu showcases the freshest quality ingredients, boasting ‘BIG Texas flavor in CLT’. (I hear their Guac is to die for!) An in-house tortilla machine means your tortillas are freshly made, while a variety of the spices used in their dishes are imported from Texas. Talk about FRESH!

As we’ve learned, the food is delicious, but what keeps people there after the food is gone is the stunning bar selection. With a decadent wine list, award-worthy selection of beers from North Carolina, Texas, and Mexico, and finished off with over 100 varieties of tequila (yes, I said 100!), who would want to leave?

Paco’s is a self-proclaimed ‘hot spot’ in Southpark (rightly so!) serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. If you’re looking for a little ‘fiesta’ in your life, be sure to stop in and get yourself a taco and some Guac – and don’t forget the Tequila. Cheers!
