Built in 2007 to honor local legend and Christian evangelist, Rev. Billy Graham, the Billy Graham Library is a public museum that documents his humble beginnings as a Charlotte farmer’s son and is now the world-renowned international speaker and pastor to 1,000s. Built to look like a barn to honor Rev. Graham’s upbringing, the Library is on the site of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s International Headquarters.
In addition to touring the Library, which houses pictures, videos and more, guests can also visit Billy Graham’s childhood home, which was restored using approximately 80% of the original home’s materials. There is a dairy bar cafe, a gallery and book store dedicated to the memory of Rev. Graham’s late wife, Ruth and a memorial prayer garden.
The Billy Graham library hosts many special events each month. Check out Doughnuts with Dad or Military Appreciation Month, plus many more!
Admission to the Library is free.
