What do you get when cross a dive bar with a live music venue?
You get the Neighborhood Theatre in NoDa!
(NoDa = This is an abbreviated term of endearment for the Historic Arts District of the North Davidson area of Charlotte.)
Originally built as a movie theatre in 1945, the Neighborhood Theatre offers live music in an intimate setting 2-5 times a week. If you check their weekly schedule you will be pleased to see there is something for everyone! From bluegrass to hip hop, rock and roll to funk – there are many different bands and groups to choose from! The stage is large, the seating/standing area is spacious and the newly renovated bar areas are great for cold libations on a hot summer night.
The location of this venue could not be better! After your show, take a stroll down Davidson for some late night fare or maybe another drink or even a tattoo. NoDa has a great vibe and is quickly becoming the “go to” destination for many in Charlotte.
