Welcome back my friends to My Kitchen! My Rules! I promised you a few different #figrecipes, so today we are going to make a delightful Apple and Fig Custard. You can thank Bon Appétit Magazine for this recipe and they refer to it as “Dessert for Breakfast.”
This may seem complex to make, but it’s really not, and above all, it is VERY TASTY! If you have fresh figs, you should definitely give this recipe a try, let me know how it turns out and send me a picture!
Don’t forget to leave me a comment saying WHERE’S MY DIXIE CRYSTAL #COUPON, and I will make sure you get one.

My mom and grandma used to use fruit fresh. I don’t know much about it. Can you taste it? I could watch you everyday. But I know that’s not possible with your work schedule. Hi from Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Put the vanilla beans in a jar of sugar. Keep adding more, every time you buy vanilla beans. They’re pretty reasonable if you buy them online.
