This weekend the Historic Latta Plantation is having a World War II Living History Event, as this year marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day! What great fun for the entire family as guest interact and take part in demonstrations.
Experience the atmosphere of a Southern England military base in 1944 as the soldiers are preparing for D-day, the invasion of France! Everyone will receive their own “identification card” and be allowed to take part as either an American or British solider.
Head on out to Historic Latta Plantation this Saturday, February 1st from 10am-4pm or Sunday, February 2nd from 1pm-4pm. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for senior and students, ages 5 and under free. Historic Latta Plantation is located at 5225 Sample Road,Charlotte, NC 28078.
