Care to join 100,000 of your closest friends who love Christmas as much as you do? Then head on over to the Southern Christmas Show held at the Park Expo and Conference Center. This annual show opened Thursday, November 13 and will be open every day through Sunday, November 23.
If you have never been, it is certainly something to experience! Since 1968 this show has been THE event to attend to kick off the holiday season. People travel from all over the Southeast to attend and this is why… The Show offers 6 acres of shopping, holiday food samples, decoration ideas and entertainment. Inside the show, in Olde Towne, over 50 “shops” are setup to give the festival goer places to purchase ornaments, wreaths, jams, and more. Christmas Tree Lane features a dozen N.C. Fraser firs decorated in different styles by professional designers to help get your creative juices flowing. And of course, Santa is there too!
Hours are 10:00am – 6:00pm Sunday – Tuesday and 10:00am – 9:00pm Thursday – Saturday.
Admission is $11 for adults; $3 for 6-12; and free for children ages 5 and younger with a paying adult.
Advance tickets are $9.50 with a VIC card at participating Harris Teeter locations; or $10 online at www.southernchristmasshow.com.
Parking is $7 per day.
You can have a picture taken with Santa for $8 and all proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
