Hello Friends, welcome back to My Kitchen! My Rules! Now, no one can deny that when it comes to easy, #homemade dinners, it doesn’t get any better than #SloppyJoes. Sweet, tangy, messy, and way delicious, it’s a family favorite.
And if you are in a hurry, and trying to stretch your ground beef, then six servings, one skillet, and ready to eat in 30 minutes, makes Sloppy Joes the perfect answer! If you decide to give this recipe a try, let me know how it turns out and send me a picture!

You need a chefs knife:)
Put a teaspoon of baking soda in your beans and it takes the gas out. Soaking them makes them cook quicker.
The Instant Pot is great for making beans (and a thousand other things). No soaking required and done in 30-40 minutes.
In my kitchen, sloppy Joe’s don’t have beans. Just meat in a delicious, thick, sauce. Chili has beans.
Yummy
Clever

I live the movie The Lost Valentine with Betty White!!
Soaking beans in water simply rehydrates so they are softer and cook faster. Nothing to do with gas unless you add some baking soda.
I love watching your videos.
BEACHES is my ALL time favorite !!!

I’m late to this game, but if you haven’t watched the movie “Simon Burch” you just have to. If that doesn’t make you cry, nothing will. You can find it right now on You Tube for free.
