Now, on a hot summer day there is nothing like a cool, creamy slice of your favorite #pie. So today I’m using my pure butter pie crust and making a homemade, sweet and tangy, lemon meringue pie.

I’ve never seen a lemon meringue pie with a flat egg white topping? Usually it has stiff peaks that you add cream of tarter to that brown slightly in the oven or with a torch? I guess that’s the southern way? Idk I bet it’s good anyway
