It’s always a good idea to get pre-approved for a #mortgage before the house hunting begins. This process allows you to know a realistic budget and uncovers any obstacles that may prevent you from getting a home loan. Maybe you have credit issues or a high debt ratio that may need to be addressed first.
Being pre-approved also lets the Sellers and their REALTOR know you are a serious potential #buyer. Having the letter could possibly give your offer priority over any other offers that may not have lender #approval.
