The fact that the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is only a little over a month away from returning to Charlotte must surely be a sign that Spring is finally here. Founded in 2007, the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival will visit 9 cities in 2014, including Charlotte at May 10th under the Big Tent at Symphony Park at Southpark Mall.
Your admission fee buys you a souvenir tasting glass so you can enjoy an all-you-care-to-taste sampling of over 60 beers and 40 bourbons. Check out the drink menu here.
So while BBQ isn’t included in the price of admission, some of the best barbeque vendors are on-site if you get hungry. While you’re there you’ll enjoy seminars in the tasting theater, live Rock, Blues and Bluegrass music all day on the main stage, fun contests on the main stage – BBQ Bean Eating Contest and BBQ Babe Contest, and lots of cool exhibits of Brewerania, hot sauces, BBQ accessories and even a cigar tent.

VIP Admission – $49 (advance only) Valid Saturday, May 10th from Noon – 6 pm. Includes admission into the event, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited beer and bourbon sampling, two extra hours of tastes, and all live entertainment- Regular Admission – $35 (advance) or $40 (onsite) Valid Saturday, May 10th from 2pm – 6pm.
