Summer’s almost here and along with it, a slew of free concerts in the greater Charlotte area. That’s right FREE concerts. Get out, enjoy the music and weather, and make some new friends, if you so desire!
From now through September, you can enjoy one or more free concerts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Check out the schedules. Check out the bands. Pick a few and go see them.
On Thursdays, you can enjoy the Alive After Five at the EpiCentre series. They feature concerts on both the Rooftop Stage and Common Area Stage. Located at 210 East Trade Street, the concerts start weekly at 5 pm. Kick your weekend off in style at The Epicentre. View their concert lineup here.
On Fridays and Saturdays, you have two choices. First up, StoneCrest at Piper Glen’s concert series. Enjoy live music on the Fountain Stage on Friday and Saturday evenings and Plaza Stage on Saturday evenings. All concerts are from 7 – 10 pm. Finally, don’t miss out on the 2014 Summer Concert Series at Blakeney. Like StoneCrest at Piper Glen, Blakeney’s concerts run Fridays and Saturdays from 7 – 10 pm. Blakeney is located at Ardrey Kell and Rea Road. View their concert lineup here.
