If you are looking for a cool place to hang out and watch the Carolina Panthers on Sundays, the Selwyn Avenue Pub might just be the place! Located in the heart of the beautiful Myers Park neighborhood, the Selwyn Avenue Pub is a very popular hangout and let me explain why:
– The outdoor patio, situated under an ancient enchanting oak tree, has couches and lots of tables, plus fire pits in the winter! It is fenced off to keep the traffic noise to a minimum and is just a great spot to see and be seen.
– The bartenders and servers are very friendly. Empty glasses are a rarity and everyone appears to really enjoy their job.
– Great bar food… The pizza is touted as the best in Charlotte.
As fall sets in and you are longing to sit back, relax and enjoy a ball game, head on over to the Selwyn Avenue Pub. You will love the atmosphere and who knows, you may even share a brewski with #23 himself. This is MJ’s favorite place too.
