Avoid the long lines on primary Election Day, March 3, and vote at one-stop early voting

Early Voting for the March 3 primary kicked off at hundreds of sites across the state yesterday, signaling the formal start to the elections in North Carolina. Though the hours of operation and locations vary based on county, Early Voting will remain open until Saturday, February 29.

The ONLY Cabarrus County one-stop early voting location for the primary is the Board of Elections office at 369 Church Street N., Concord, NC.

The final days and hours for one-stop early voting are:
February 24-28, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For questions about the election process, visit the Board of Elections office in the old creamery complex or call 704-920-2860. And, of course, you can visit www.cabarruscounty.us/election… or the North Carolina State Board of Elections website, www.ncsbe.gov.

Aren’t registered to vote?

You still can at any early voting site in your county. This is only for new registrations though. You can’t make changes to an existing registration, including changing party identification without contacting your local Board of Elections.
